Dean Orton, Rimini Lambretta Centre, Italy, 18.06.2013: "During this years Moto Giro D'Italia, living Lambretta legend Tony Tessier was competing on his scooter when he hit a MASSIVE pothole. The size of the hole coupled with Tony's size (in his own words he is a "fat bastard") actually managed to buckle the rear wheel rim. The Giro mechanics took the wheel off and beat it back into shape with a lead mallet! It was near perfect and good enough to use for Tony to complete the event. The point is this : the aluminum of the SIP tubeless wheel rims is that good that it was possible to re-shape it with a lead mallet and it didn't crack. Well done SIP!
